The Combined Charging System (CCS) is the standard for electric vehicle charging. Generally, it can be subdivided into two connector standards, combination and combination 2. The combination charging system chooses to use type 1 or type 2 connector for AC charging, which mainly depends on the geographical area.
Generally speaking, the communication protocols of CCS1 and CCS2 are the same, but the processing functions are slightly different. The power-off effect of the subsequent improvement and supplementation of ccs2 is more efficient and safer than that of ccs1.
ccs1: During the charging process, the non-vehicle charging equipment confirms the input voltage signal of the contact through the connection, so as to continuously observe the connection status of the charging plug and the charging socket. Once an abnormality occurs, the non-vehicle charging equipment immediately turns off the DC power output, and completes the unloading. After that, turn off switch S1.
ccs2: During the charging process, if the off-board charging device does not receive the charging level requirement message periodically sent by the battery management system within 100ms, the off-board charging device will also turn off the DC power output function.
